Many have taken to social media to react to Fireboy DML’s new album, “Apollo” which was released earlier today, 20th August, 2020.
The YBNL artiste has been teasing the arrival of the new album for a while now, and with no disappointment to its release date, the singer born Adedemola Adefolahan rolled it out to the music world.
‘Apollo’ which is a 17-track album, is a follow-up to his debut LP, Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps. It has his label boss, Olamide and creative vocalist and singer, Wande Coal and D Smoke, as the only guest features on the project.
“New York City Girl,” “Eli” and “Tattoo” serves as the preceding singles to the album release itself.
Upon it’s release, Nigerians have taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the album with many praising the YBNL artiste and tipping him to win a Grammy Award with the new project.
Prior to their reactions, Fireboy DML himself who seems confident of the project he has produced, took to Twitter to write: “What a time to be alive. APOLLO out now.”
One of the first Twitter users who reacted to the new album stated that the 24-year-old is leaving his young colleagues — Rema & Joeboy — behind. The user wrote: “Fireboy is leaving Joeboy and Rema behind.”
Another stated that the album deserves to win a Grammy considering how “nice” it is: “This Fireboy album deserves to win a Grammy,” the user wrote. Apollo is indeed a nice album.Omo…this fireboy just wan kill use with his vibes…you just won my heart mehn… ”
“Fireboy is actually now on the same table with Davido, Burna and co, but we’re not ready for that conversation,” another user added.
